Midori is the passion project of Round Two co-founder Luke Fracher. Having been in the streetwear scene since he was younger, Fracher’s label pays homage to its influence while helping enthusiasts who are “trying to dress grown”, as stated in the brand’s Instagram bio. Through his own experience, Fracher believes that people into streetwear sometimes have trouble maturing their taste as they age. Midori aims to bridge that gap. The brand’s name translates to green in Japanese and is named after Fracher’s love for Japanese designers. The label focuses on low-key, toned down pieces with strong silhouettes. Fracher aims to create simple but elevated garments that can be in one’s closet for the next 15 years, not aging with time, but staying staple.
