Y's by Yohji Yamamoto

Founded in 1977, the women’s line of Y’s was created because Yamamoto was not a fan of the traditional, hyper feminine clothing women were wearing at the time. He wanted to put women in menswear inspired silhouettes that created a more mysterious, empowering point of view. Y’s is known for traditionally masculine silhouettes adapted with asymmetric cuts, and intentionally unique tailoring.
