Wales Bonner

Grace Wales Bonner started her namesake in label in 2014 after graduating from Central Saint Martins. Based in London, Wales Bonner began as a menswear label that seamlessly blended European tailoring with Afro Atlantic culture. This is reflective of Bonner herself, whose mother is European and father is Jamaican. Bonner won the emerging menswear designer award from the BFA in 2015 and the LVMH young designer prize the following year. In 2018, the label started womenswear as well. Bonner’s designs feature bright colors and patterns reminiscent of her African heritage with slim fitting, precisely cut tailoring. Ranging from athleisure to formal wear, Wales Bonner is well rounded in its offerings.
