Dries Van Noten

Dries Van Noten entered the world of fashion at 18 years old, partaking in fashion design at Antwerp’s Royal Academy. His success as a student led to becoming a charter member of the Antwerp Six— a collective of Belgian designers from Antwerp’s Royal Academy of Fine Arts. This group innovated the current fashion culture with their disruptive, avant-garde aesthetics and styles. With success as a consultant designer, Dries Van Noten went on to present his first menswear collection in 1986 and open an eponymous boutique for the label later that same year. Van Noten’s menswear and womenswear both push boundaries through timeless designs and prints that defy trends, earning him many accolades over his decades long career. Known for elegant yet daring prints that feature works of fine artists, Dries Van Noten offers sweaters, pants and outerwear that carry a futuristic appeal with an ode to traditional roots.
